Correla are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our business Engineering Team.

 

Salary: c£65,000

About the Role

  • You will monitor and report incidents to ensure that systems operate reliably and respond to issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • You will automate repetitive and manual tasks to reduce operational load and improve efficiency. 
  • You will ensure systems can scale to meet demand without sacrificing performance or reliability. 
  • You will define and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to establish clear targets for system reliability and balance reliability with development velocity. 
  • You will focus on Continuous Improvement and Reliability Engineering by driving system resilience and reliability through continuous improvements and by incorporating best practices.

About you

  • You will have extensive experience working with tools including Prometheus, Grafana and Azure Monitor Automation and Scripting - Proficiency in .net and/or python scripting languages, AI integration (Github Copilot) and knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, ADO Pipelines, Octopus Deploy).

  • You will have proficiency with Linux/Unix systems, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS), and system troubleshooting.

  • You will have deep familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container orchestration tools. Capacity Planning and Performance Management.

  • You will have the ability to analyse resource usage trends, perform capacity planning, and optimise for performance and cost.
