Correla are looking for a Software Engineer to work in our agile teams building products for the Energy industry.

 

Salary: c£50,000

About the Role

  • You will translate the product vision into working software we can deliver to customers solving their problems.
  • You will ensure that all solutions are developed against our standards. Implement quality unit and integrations testing and supporting others with peer review.
  • You will support our team in being 2 steps ahead by ensuring we are evaluating and trailing new tools and technology.
  • You will build and run our products, we need to ensure that we build products that self-heal and with observability in mind.

About You

  • You will need .NET: Development using C# and .NET 8, we use ASP.NET Core, EF Core and when we build frontends, we use Blazor

  • We design and develop our systems using a microservices architecture, knowledge of key design patterns and how to build resilience in distributed systems is essential.

  • We build our solutions to be deployed into public cloud (Azure), knowledge of how to build for cloud and some key Azure services (Service Bus, Storage Accounts).

  • Some of the problems we solve for our customers are hard ones, being able to think and reason about problems and break them down is important
